about

An apology to the child inside who was so used and abused for so long. It took many years to tell someone all the heinous things that were done to us. You did not know who you could trust and there was absolutely no where to turn. When you did try to speak they called you a liar who dreamt it all up. They turned their backs on us & we cannot forgive them for it. Written September 15, 2014

lyrics

Too many things are eating us alive
Too many regrets inside
If I could only see you once again
I wonder if we’d cry

(Chorus)
If there was a way to go back to yesterday
I’d tell you to your face, I’m sorry
And the more I hold it in
Such a tyrant that I’ve been
Please believe I’m sorry

If we refuse to let it dissipate
It would be such a waste
Our time has come and gone by so fast
I hope it’s not too late

If there was a way to go back to yesterday
I’d tell you to your face I’m sorry
And the more I hold it in
Such a tyrant that I’ve been
Please believe I’m sorry, please believe I’m sorry

Oh when do I begin?
Rigor mortis setting in
Don’t take it to the grave so sorry
All the pain that we maintain is like a hidden ball and chain
Was it all just in vain, I’m sorry
